Mr. John Ho - F.C.A., F.C.P.A., F.H.K.I.o.D., B.A.(Hons.)
Mr John Ho is the Chief Financial Officer and the Company Secretary of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited and a member of the Company’s Executive Committee. He was appointed as Executive Director and Company Secretary of Towngas China Company Limited in 2007 (a public listed company in Hong Kong) and holds directorship in various subsidiaries in mainland China. He also serves as the director of Changchun Gas Company Limited and Shenzhen Gas Corporation Limited, both are listed companies on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Mr Ho is a General Committee member of the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies and a member of the Taxation Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and also a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.
Mr Ho graduated from the University of Manchester in England with an honorable Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. He completed the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School in the United States and has over 38 years of experience in accounting, corporate finance and investments.
