Mr. Ronald Kong - BSc (Hon. Computer Science), MBA, CWM (Chartered Wealth Management)
Ronald has extensive experience in IT innovation, Venture Capital and the PE industry. He has been actively involved in cross border M&A transactions and led a number of successful IPOs outside China. His exposure in the last 20 years in China, Hong Kong, Europe and North America have helped him establish an extensive network ranging from academics in leading universities to senior management and government departments in China. Ronald is a chartered member of CWMI and CMA and an Executive Committee Member of Dashun Foundation.
Ronald is an alumnus of The University of Manchester and as Chairman of the MBS Alumni Association China Ltd Board 2007-2008, he helped to consolidate the association’s standing in the region. As of now, Mr. Kong remains a keen university donor and valued adviser. He founded Kong’s Scholarship in the University of Manchester.
Previously, Ronald held various positions, such as Managing Director of JW Investment holding; SVP of China Hand Fund; Senior Advisor to Anglo-German Fund, Managing Director of SITA Great China; General Manager of Orange Business Services China; Founder of Infosky, Beijing; Board of Director and CFO of CENO Energy, Canada; Cathay Pacific Airways - Developing I.T. and Telecom strategies for airlines.
