Global Executive MBA in Hong Kong - Kai Tak Sport Park Visit and Cantonese Dinner in Xiqi Centre
Each year, The University of Manchester East Asia Centre brings our Global Executive MBA students to the best possible places to learn and explore in Hong Kong. Last year, we visited the Palace Museum, and this year we are here at the Kai Tak Sports Park. We appreciate the opportunity, thank you to the CEO - John Sharkey, and his team, as we saw high level of engagement during the Q&A session.
Our GEMBA students posed insightful questions covering aspects of leadership and management, particularly when it comes to navigating the complexities of large-scale project. This group consists of senior executives who are top leaders in their companies, all coming to Hong Kong with a strong desire to gain new perspectives, primarily from the workshops, as well as from this educational visit.
And to provide our Manchester Global Executive MBA students with a refreshing break during the workshops and leave them with a positive impression of Hong Kong, we have created a memorable experience for them by inviting them for an exquisite Chinese dinner at the Xiqu Centre at night, with our broader alumni community in Hong Kong.
The event was once again enjoyed by all. A similar photo was taken under this signature skylight with a different new batch of close to 50 top executives. We extend our best wishes to everyone as you head back to your busy work and lives later this week around the globe.
Hong Kong is a city we wish to showcase as not just a global financial hub, but also a place that values culture and humanity. Even though that the visit was compact, the impressions we gain will certainly last with all of us. You are always welcome to return to East Asia, whether for leisure, work or further study.
