Had a brilliant meeting with the Hong Kong Talent Engage (HKTE) team under the Labour and Welfare Department today. Fiona Devine and Panos Sousounis gained a deeper understanding of how Hong Kong positions its talent engagement strategies, especially since Manchester stands as one of the top global suppliers of talent to Hong Kong through their seven unique admission schemes.

It was a highly engaging session. The group had discussions around GBA interconnectivity, Hong Kong's strategic positioning, and key priority industries, alongside practical insights on funding requirements and local master's pathways.

Our eight Global Graduate students joined the session and participated actively. It is incredibly encouraging to see our next generation of talent engaging so confidently on the global stage.
