The University of Manchester East Asia Centre recently hosted an exclusive networking dinner in Tokyo, Japan, bringing together Professor Xavier Duran, students from our January 2026 and July 2026 cohorts, and several of our dedicated alumni helpers to celebrate their ongoing educational journey.
The East Asia Centre aims to continuously deliver value to our community by providing academic inspiration, a premium platform to build new professional connections, and a warm opportunity to catch up with old friends—or simply take a well-deserved break from work and studies.
It was a highly engaging evening. We hope everyone enjoyed the insightful conversations with our Centre Director, Olivia Chan, as well as the interactive "Bingo" icebreaker game.
Here’s to many more memorable gatherings, collaborative milestones, and continued learning!
