Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 2 Study Tour with Global Executive MBA Students

Taking learning outside the classroom is a key part of our executive education experience.

Every autumn, The University of Manchester East Asia Centre brings the Business School’s Global Executive MBA students on a study tour during their one-week workshop here in Hong Kong.

Thank you to our alumnus Timmy Li, MBA for making the connection. This year, we were very excited to bring our students to visit the newly opened Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 2.

It was a rare opportunity for everyone to explore the airport's new Flight Token design directly from the Airport Authority Hong Kong’s Future Travel Experience team. This allowed everyone to understand how Flight Token enhances the traveler experience and airport flow efficiency - not just in Hong Kong, but also through its integration with regional neighbors.

We then treated our global senior leaders to local Chinese delicacies at the West Kowloon Xiqu Centre. One of the student representatives shared a heartfelt thank you to The University of Manchester East Asia Centre and the team for their wonderful hospitality.

Years from now, when these executives look back on this one-week journey in Hong Kong, the sharp business insights will remain, but it is the breathtaking Victoria Harbour skyline and the welcoming spirit of its people that will truly stick with them.
