It feels like yesterday we were navigating Typhoon no.10 with our GEMBA students. This week, The University of Manchester East Asia Centre is delighted to welcome two recent cohorts here in Hong Kong but this year, under beautiful, lovely weather.

It is also so lovely to have Professor Dawn Holmes and @Geoffrey back with us, they feel almost like a part of our Centre team family.

To kick things off, our students tasted some traditional mooncakes during their break. Carrying that same festive Mid-Autumn vibe with National Day just around the corner, this serves as a perfect backdrop for their residency.

We look forward to a variety of activities tailored around their schedule to keep them engaged, ensuring they get the absolute best value from their time here in Hong Kong. It is always an incredible opportunity for these global leaders to see and feel Asia - one of the world's superpowers in person. The energy, the people, and the dynamic business mindset are palpable the moment they step out of their classrooms or hotel rooms.

A huge thank you to our Student Support Team for coming in to support the students during these important seasonal holidays, and to our Centre Director, Olivia Chan, for opening the workshop for both classes!
